Thank You, for the follow up. I am not, but some maybe offended by your tone. It is easy to get worked up but we must stay civil even when the others do not.

All God wants is for us to have a personal relationship w/ him. He doesn't want anything else from us, he created it all, so why would he. I found that since I've started reading the Bible, the only things that are important to him is that we all love each other the way he loves us. I believe everyone wants peace in their life, they just don't realize it starts w/ having a realationship w/ God. That doesn't mean you have to go to a church, or donate all your money to a religious institution. Just try and learn about him, read your bible, and pray to him to help you understand what you are reading. He will be sure to put someone infront of you to explain anything you need help with. That is how it happend for me. He knows exactly what we need every minute of our life. I agree w/ everything you wrote, I just wanted you to know there are others out here that believe the same thing you do!!!!Have a good day!

It does not seem that you are looking for the "Truth" because you are bashing Catholics, but do not list a single reason why. I used to believe all of this mindless Catholic Bashing so I decided to study the Catholic Faith for myself.
Guess what, just like this post, long on bashing and generalities and no substance. I became Catholic after studying for over 20 years.
Bible? How can you say that Catholics are not Christians according to the bible? Do you know where the Bible Came from? Did you know that Catholics DO read the Bible?
I do agree with one thing, Check it out for yourself, get a copy of the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, all of our beliefs are in there for anyone to read and agree or dis-agree with.
No vague, half-truths to change meanings within different groups in the Church.
Peace and may God Bless you All.

You are right when you say that this is not a question. It is a rant against Catholics. But the Catholic Church has been teaching true Christianity since the very beginning. Peter, the first Pope, was the rock upon which Christ built his church. For two thousand years the Church has been guided by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

I'm not sure what was said before but if you are looking for the truth the fullness of truth rests with the Catholic Church when it comes to faith and morals. That teaching is from Christ. Do not be deceived by the sins of the men in the church. The "Church" Herself is not sinful it is Holy, Apostolic and universal
the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the divinely-revealed, written Word of God, Catholics venerate the Scriptures as they venerate the Lord's body. But Catholics do not believe that God has given us His divine Revelation in Christ exclusively through Scripture. Catholics also believe that God's Revelation comes to us through the Apostolic Tradition and teaching authority of the Church.
What Church? Scripture reveals this Church to be the one Jesus Christ built upon the rock of Saint Peter (Matt. 16:18). By giving Peter the keys of authority (Matt. 16:19), Jesus appointed Peter as the chief steward over His earthly kingdom (cf. Isaiah. 22:19-22). Jesus also charged Peter to be the source of strength for the rest of the apostles (Luke 22:32) and the earthly shepherd of Jesus' flock (John 21:15-17). Jesus further gave Peter, and the apostles and elders in union with him, the power to bind and loose in heaven what they bound and loosed on earth. (Matt. 16:19; 18:18). This teaching authority did not die with Peter and the apostles, but was transferred to future bishops through the laying on of hands (e.g., Acts 1:20; 6:6; 13:3; 8:18; 9:17; 1 Tim. 4:14; 5:22; 2 Tim. 1:6).
By virtue of this divinely-appointed authority, the Catholic Church determined the canon of Scripture (what books belong in the Bible) at the end of the fourth century. We therefore believe in the Scriptures on the authority of the Catholic Church. After all, nothing in Scripture tells us what Scriptures are inspired, what books belong in the Bible, or that Scripture is the final authority on questions concerning the Christian faith. Instead, the Bible says that the Church, not the Scriptures, is the pinnacle and foundation of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15) and the final arbiter on questions of the Christian faith (Matt. 18:17). It is through the teaching authority and Apostolic Tradition (2 Thess. 2:15; 3:6; 1 Cor. 11:2) of this Church, who is guided by the Holy Spirit (John 14:16,26; 16:13), that we know of the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, and the manifold wisdom of God. (cf. Ephesians 3:10).

Jesus tells us to love one another as He has loved us, if you begin by following that commandment of Jesus, you'd be in a better place to know the truth about the one and only Church that He founded.
You are maligning the holy body of Jesus.

Thanks for explaining the purpose of this rant. You are looking for the truh. I don't think that you will be able to find the truh, since I have no idea what the word means, but hey, keep on looking. By the way, your rant is quite cute.

If you are looking for the Truth, you will find HIM at the Catholic Church. I am content to let the Lord Jesus be our judge on that day when many will come to him and say "Lord, didn't we do this in your name and didn't we do that in your name?"....and....Jesus will say "Away from me you evil doers for I do not KNOW you" The Lord knows everyone so what does he mean that he doesn't know them? He means it in a biblical sense because they are not his bride the Catholic Church with whom he has Holy Communion with. You are like a Samaritan telling the Jews how to be good Jews. You make me laugh.

>>If you read it over a few times you'll see that what it takes to be a christian is not what Catholics teach.<<
That was not my experience. When I was a Protestant, the more I read the Bible, the more I became convinced that Protestantism was wrong and Catholicism was right.

I sort of agree with you...however...do you actually have a question? And, I suggest you at LEAST pay attention to the spell checker - it usually gives you the TRUTH about spelling. You should also read some books on grammar.
