All human beings have 4096 great-grandparents not just Christians.

You = 1
Parents = 2
Grandparents = 4
Great-grandparents = 8
2nd great-grandparents = 16
3rd great-grandparents = 32
4th great-grandparents = 64
5th great-grandparents = 128
6th great-grandparents = 256
7th great-grandparents = 512
8th great-grandparents = 1024
9th great-grandparents = 2048
10th great-grandparents = 4096

I have 8 great grandparents or 4 generations because I have to include myself.

So I need to add 8 more generations to make the 12 generations....or 2048 if my calculator didn't mess me up.

But this math problem assumes that the family structure was stable. If divorce occurred, many more grandparents would need to be counted.
