YES! YES! YES! AMEN! You hit the nail on the head I was just talking to my friend about this exact thing this weekend. How about the upcoming presidential elections? Whoa! I'm scared. God has definitely become extinct and it is our government's fault. Our government seems to take the side of the crybabies in this country like the ones last Christmas saying the Nativity was offensive and the ten Commandments are offensive. Oooohhh I can't tell you how angry it makes me knowing I am a citizen of of a sissified nation cowing down to whiners who have nothing better to do than sit on their butts and collect free money from the government and whine about little stupid petty things.
Wow! Don't get me started. These people who cry about One nation "Under God" are you for real?
Do people not realize that fighting for rights only succeeds in losing what we have? For all the activists in this country every time you fight for a new right we lose something. Activists always want to take things to the extreme. They want to put stipulations on all our rights. Like we can practice religion in private or in church but not publicly or in schools.
We have to right to practice religion where ever we are. We have the right to free speech so I can pray in a classroom because I'm speaking with God. I have the right to carry a Bible with me even to school because it's my reading material. Are you gonna tell me I can't?
Sorry I get a little fired up when it comes to activists taking my God out of my life. They never will try as they may and I agree every Christian in America needs to take back what's theirs. God will never go away even if He is banned. I will always have Him. Let's get excited about God again and let's be loud!!!

Christianity is nowhere near "deleted" in a country that is over 80% christian.
No religion is (or should be) allowed to display their religious symbols in public schools. Religious schools can display any that they choose.
Children of ALL faiths are still allowed to pray in schools. there simply can not be teachers (or other school personnel) leading or encouraging those prayers.
If it were up to you all children, no matter what their faith would have to have a Bible on their desk and spend an hour reading it? That is ridiculous and I am sure you would agree if it was someone of a different faith suggesting such nonsense. I most definitely do not want my tax dollars spent teaching my children a religion that I do not believe in - nor would you.
"We the people" have the guaranteed right to choose our own religion (or none). Christians do not get to decide for everyone.
I see the country's laws becoming more secular and I think it's about time. Christians have had control of the government and schools for far too long. It's time we actually followed the Constitution that makes this country great.
So nothing has happened to God. All that has happened is that Christians are losing their self defined 'right' to impose their beliefs on everyone and somehow manage to equate that with persecution..
I seriously fear for your children.

two things i give you credit for, ending race related differences, and also the idea of political correctness gone wrong. We are a tolerant nation and we're still trying to fine tune how to create a safe, comfortable environment for minorities while repecting the rights of majorities.
To answer your main question, stupid people attached God to a book written mainly by retards.
Your child can pray in school, the teacher just can't lead it. Big difference. No, the US isn't mentione in revelations. Which means it isn't going to happen anytime soon, no way the current US would stay out of Armageddon. Overall you're just ranting about stuff. Stand up for God, yeah cuz no one ever does that. We won't have a country to defend? when's the last time a major power just fell off the face of the earth? It is becoming arrogant more than anything, and a little spoiled, but this idea that the only cure is turning to God to save us is pathetic.

I'm curious which schools allow ANY prayer in schools regardless of the religion. I'm of the opinion that no religion be allowed in schools whatsoever. How in the world would you have to for the Christians, Muslims, Athiests, Agnostics, etc and still have time to do any work?
Leave the praying at home where ALL religions are allowed to practice as they wish.
That's just my opinion however. And to be honest, it sure doesn't feel like God has gone anywhere. I still don't have the opportunity to vote on Sunday beer sales because the Religious side keep promising to oust my Governor if he allows it.
I've no issue with voting and still not being able to purchase it, but the fact that I can't even VOTE about it in my own County has left a bad taste in my mouth for him and the ones that pushed him to it.
respectfully,
me

This is a bit scary alright - 85% of Canadians are also Christian, with 45% being Catholic. And never mind the pork - some schools won't allow peanut butter!!!!! I say this tongue in cheek - what could possibly be wrong with accomodating different beliefs and people and making sure everyone is comfortable. Why do people see this as a bad thing?

I agree with you somewhat. I think that children should be allowed to pray, and the children that don't want to don't have to, but give the Christian children the chance to pray. And as far as all this "political correctness" goes about offending other people, it is so stupid, if you don't like what people call you, get over it.

Hey - that is treason - you are calling for a second civil war!!!
The constitution excludes religion from government and quite rightly so. You may be calling to drop black and white but as sure as hell you are inciting civil war between Christian dictators and freemen. America stand for freedom. Guess who will loose the fight you are seeking?
Mind - it would probably be worth it to get a secular state and put the egotistical Pseudo Christians in their place.
A good Christian would never, ever post like you have. You are destroying the Christian church from the inside, driving good Christians away and increasingly forcing governments both inside and outside the US is legislate and act against Christian extremism.
Are you sure you are not an anti Christian hiding behind falsehood?

it fairly is a tragic actuality of existence interior the united kingdom now, and for that it is easy to blame in maximum situations, no self-discipline from mothers and fathers, no effectual deterrent from colleges or the police. I watched a television document final night the place 2 14 ladies have been sitting around interior the line, getting p issed and this became into around 10pm, the place are the mothers and fathers in all this, do no longer they understand the place their little ones are, in this and various situations of course no longer. that's purely component to the subject, and for persons who save bleating approximately we've no longer something to do, i do no longer understand that during any respect. the area the place destructive Gary Newlove became into murdered has many adolescents centers as referred to by way of his spouse and the police and it is easy to purely assume those feral young ones in simple terms haven't any know for existence. No deterrents no for them to kill so they do and in increasing quantity. Time for police to have each and all of the powers returned, junk the ecu court docket of Human Rights and get returned to fundamentals.

I'm glad it's not up to you.
America has NEVER been a Christian nation. It was created by deists and unitarians depending on the philosophy of John Locke. They considered pluralism a terrible evil in society, but an unavoidable one. In creating freedom of religion, they hoped to remove the brunt of religious arguments (and were disappointed in their time). Some of them even thought about starting a deist civil religion o_o.
With men like that and with their intentions, our nation has developed in the only way it could. They wanted religion privatized, any forced promotion ended, and people to generally be apathetic about it and "rational." By their definition of "rational," they meant that they went about their cares in life, not concerning themselves with their neighbor, and using their reason to pursue wealth and a comfortable retirement (it didn't have anything to do with philosophy either).
You wan to embrace this system and force a Bible on every desk? That is a very disturbing incongruity that would result in a lot of death, persecution, and violence. I'm glad that you aren't in power, and I'm a Christian at that.

I think the bible should be X rated, and not be placed in childrens hands, especially the female gender. Women have come into the modern century having to fight to be called persons, instead of being treated like a subhuman with no brains, we have the bible to thank for that! Do you want to teach your daughter to always bow to the mans will, even if he is an idiot? I think the Bible should be labeled - 666- The book that will keep you in the dark ages.
