Are angels even supposed to have free will? I thought that they were created for the sole purpose of being drones for his will and worshipping.

my logic is, if half your followers turn on you, you must be doing something wrong.

I am by no means am expert on god; I am just as confused as you. But I do know this there are miracles that happen every day, things that can not be explained by any other means than to say there was divine intervention. And even the crappiest thing that can happen to a person is proof that there is a god. Maybe I am just feeling extra religious today, or I am thinking that there has been some divine intervention in my life from time to time... a true story....

This weekend a young man was coming home from a party doing things he shouldn’t have been doing (Mostly drinking, since he’s 19 its illegal) walking home we finds himself in a situation there is an altercation between people from his group of friends and a local boy... him being in the wrong place at the wrong time he ended up with 2 stab wounds in the neck severing veins and causing severe bleeding. you might say wow more reason to not believe in or have faith in god.... but I say just the contrary, there must have been divine intervention at play the boy survived and is stable in the hospital.... he was in the wrong place at the wrong time... but he will pull through it, I have FAITH, if you don’t have faith ask yourself why don’t you have faith? It will be some external source that causes the crisis of faith... then look at the situation and tell me if you have learned from it,

God gave us free choice, something he didn’t give to the angels, the angels where put there to serve god we have a choice to serve god of not... it’s ultimately your choice

Why should you vote democratic or republican when 50% are going to vote the other way? You worship God through Faith and in doing so you accept his revelation of himself. By the way, only about 30% of the angles fell from grace and followed the devil, all of whom believe in God and know his powers. Always remember, God will never force anyone into heaven against their will. You are more than welcome to spend eternity with those that turn their back on your creator.

When you're worshipping God you're saying that you want to be part of something better. Angels are known to provide rescue to people. It seems like they must have been deceived or were defective in character.

2/3rds of the angels rebelled. that's more than 50%

both Adam and Eve disobeyed in the garden of Eden.

Jesus showed up glorified after he arose and preached to 500 people and only 120 did what he told them 10 days later.

God aint afraid of low odds, how bout you?

It is only 1/3 of the angels that followed Satan. Pride is the reason they fell from heaven. Pride is the reason people on earth don't come to Him as well. Let us humble ourselves under God's mighty hand.

Back that up with bible scripture. satan took some angels with him because they wanted to be greater than God, rather than serve Him. So God cast satan and his followers out of heaven.

Isaiah 14:12 -15How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Why shouldn't you worship God when 50% of his own angels (who've met him) worshiped him and acknowledged him?

Why shouldn't you worship God when over 50% of his own creation (who've not met him) worship and acknowledge him?

you pose the question but are you one of those jesus followers who get the two mixed up. only one is god. and secondly don't listen to him theres nothing wrong with that ,just let god know how you feel first before you do it. he may understand and forgive you based on all the christian, and catholic ideas people are hit with everyday. i would understand but be alil pissed, hey if im god m thinking can't save them all oh well.
