I have no problem with that concept. As long as people dont' start speaking for that natural process, and decreeing that it has certain rules and/or things that it hates.

I think that's part of it... but there is so much more than matter itself. The deeper we look in, the less "stuff" there really is. It's about vibration, attraction, harmony, energy.
Since we interpret through matter, we look through these filtering lenses and try to grasp at the nature of reality.
Trying to name and describe is fun, but wholly incapable of encompassing it all.
