There's really no such thing as good or bad taste, many people think the Queen of England has the epitome of good taste but I think the whole royal family are extremely vulgar in almost everything they do...it's a very personal thing in the end.
You are possessed by the demon of kitsch however.

There is not a specific demon of poor taste, but too many pink flamingos can make one FEEL like one is in hell.

The city I am from in MA is know for plastic factories and one actually invented the pink flamingos ( the plant was sold to a different owner who bought the molds and factory and has cont. to make the flamingos) They were made to draw attention from dead yellow grass :)

Everything is relative. What might be poor taste for one, might not be for another. I live in Canada so plastic flamingos arn't my cup of tea. I really think our Bell Beavers deserve two thumbs up though.

Those pink flamingos are SO tacky...yet for some reason I love them. And I'm not a big fan of lawn ornaments.
