You are right the Roman Catholic church is not Christian. Some Catholics are saved but they are unwillingly to come of that cult. You are also correct that the Catholic church does not teach or act scriptural.
You say you have read the Bible. Now it's time to answer the under lying question. What think-est thou of Christ?

I respectfully disagree. As many non-Catholic Christians have explained to me, the word "Catholic" is not in the Bible.
So how can the bible say "that Catholics aren't Christian"?
I think you are trying to redefine the word "Christian."
Most non-Catholic Christian denominations accept Catholics as Christians. A very few do not.
A dictionary would say that a Christian is someone professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
Catholics would fit this definition.
In the Nicene creed, from 325 A.D., Catholics profess:
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father.
Through Him all things were made.
For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We are baptized as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19, "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
We truly are spiritually "born again" but we just don't usually use those words.
With love in Christ.

So,
Are you going to tell us what the Lie is? What if you just mis-understood and then searched no more?
Where in the Holy Bible does it say that Catholics are not Christian?
As a Converted Catholic, I resent that.
The Catholic Church was the only Christian Church until 1600. What Divine event happened then?
Peace!

Why do people pick on the Catholic Church. As a Catholic I am starting to get fed up on the subject. We are Christians just like everybody else, I think it is time we Catholics put our foot down on this prejudice.

Amen, you should read the woman that rides the beast, by Dave Hunt
Catholics for the most part don't know that their religion is not true to the Bible. Most of them have been trained this way from birth and have not read the Bible (the real Bible) not the Catholic Bible, for themselves.

The New Testament was written by Catholics for Catholics, the Protestants didn't arrive on the scene until 1500 and then they suddenly "hijacked" the Bible.

Does it hurt when you chase and bite your own tail like that? Unkind speech and talking in circles... Catholicism made the Bible as it is... everyone decided to interpret it differently, which proves that everyone perceives things differently, so perceptions can be a problem where there's no absolute as to what "truth" really is... so wouldn't it be far more productive, instead, to cultivate your own altruism, wisdom and compassion rather than running around pointing fingers at everyone else?
