I ask questions like this all the time, yet christians refuse to believe that their god is a regional deity that spreads only in the manner that ideas and diseases spread, through personal contact with infected persons and materials.
They'll make up all kinds of excuses for their bronze age Palestinian superhero explaining why he didn't address those people directly. Some will even say that it did talk to them at some point, the Natives (who acknowledge no such thing) somehow decided to reject him and forget all knowledge of him. These people have a poor grasp of reality, and are the main reason our nation is frowned upon by the rest of the civilized world.

You can't fight faith with logic. The two are completely different fields.
The whole point of "chosen people" (of the Israelite faith) is that god chose the Israelites only to recognize him as the creator. Not only the Native Americans did not know a thing about god, so did the entire world except for the Israelites.
The misdeeds of the followers of Christ (who are not the representatives of god, if I may, as a Jew) have absolutely nothing to do with the religious debate you presented.

this is not a valid point. nowhere in the bible is it implied that any people other than the hebrews could know about G-d. and the only reason the hebrews knew about G-d was because they were shown proof. and the reason the hebrews were given proof is because their ancestor abraham discovered G-d intellectually, coming upon the knowledge of G-d using only his mind, and G-d considered this something to be rewarded. and so, when the time came for that G-d decided to choose a people to honour him and make him known to the world, G-d chose the descendants of abraham, the man who knew G-d without needing any proof.
if you're going to attack the bible, at least attack it within its own parameters. your argument to anyone who believes in the bible means nothing to them since it is not relevant to what we believe.

Because IHVH was the tribal war god of a different group of savages who lived thousands of miles away and had no contact with the "American Indians."
That's the, you know, "rational" explanation.
