War like abortion is usually the result of social-economic problems. For example a nation can go to war with another nation for oil. While a young soon to be mother would have an abortion when she is unable to financially support her child. Even though they are both "morally and ethically" wrong, but on larger scale it is beneficial for survival. Whether it is the survival of the nation to feed its growth by providing employment and further on a better living for its people. Also can be beneficial for the mother's life to be without the child in the long run, it is better if she survives for her self and succeeds rather then failing as a pair (her and her child).

Because the liberals are complete hypocrites. 3000 American babies die a day in these slaughter houses, it is a horrific Holocaust.

If know the argument your not a woman, you never had to face the dilemma. Your right I have never thought of killing for pure convenience.

If you do not want your baby their are plenty of people that do. It's time to stop playing games and start taking some personal responsibility.

One difference - countries go to war to either further their own agendas or to take away something the other side has - or, in the case of the current war on terrorism, to defeat an evil ideology. In the case of women and abortion, you have mothers that want to kill innocent souls so they can not be inconvenienced with raising a kid, even though their own actions caused that kid to come into existence. So, in my opinion, those are not things that have one thing to do with each other and do not belong in comparison to each other. As to the "Conservatives" Vs. "Liberals" argument, just remember - Conservatives want to kill murderers and terrorists, liberals want to kill babies!

We can tell people not to "make war" when we learn altruism, wisdom and compassion, which means taking responsibility and cultivating these things in our OWN MINDS FIRST, not going around telling everyone else how to act. When we're purely altruistic ourselves and understand how the world really works... the rest is... well... "gravy".

You want irony, Sparky? It is the pro-life conservative faction of this country that's all for the war that is taking the lives of our young men. And since when is killing cells the same as killing a fully grown human being? Every time Bush picks his nose he kills more cells than the zygote that's "killed" in the termination of an unwanted pregnancy.

You dont kow what someone in that situation is going through (abortion wise) so zip it. Everything in life has exceptions, murder is bad yes, but sometimes its needed to stop more murder.
Abortion too has an exception, it all depends on the case at hand and unless you know EVERYTHING about the case, then shut your trap.

We dont know what the woman is going through, medicaly, mentaly, or physicialy,

(ohh and btw, over 9,000 wemon a year have to abort babies a year due to guareteed death at childbirth.) think about that

Nothing is black and white, their is exceptions to everything.

people don't make war the gov't does. and individuals should make their own decisions as far as birth goes after discussing with their mate if it is in their custom.

Absolutely! If you're pro-life, you should be pro-ALL life, not just the unborn! What good does it do to protect the unborn babies if they won't have the same rights after they are born?
