Absolutely...at the cross, Christ was "bruised for our iniquities & By His stripes ( Lashes) we WERE healed."...I am living proof that it works.... as far as remission, I think that is when doctors have treated someone, say for cancer and the disease is still there, but not active....the act of remitting means to cancel or refrain from inflicting the penalty...

When it comes to diseases, terminal or not,,,,,,remission means that it is not progressing at that time. It has temporarily stopped....in remission.
First of all may i say, that God is Omnipotent and is capable of anything at all....Now the whole deal about Christ...well, i am of the pagan faith, so i wouldnt know about that.
What i do know is that our bodies have everything they need to heal themselves and we can help the process along with a few simple suggestions;
Quiet Heals, Release All Negativity, Have Patience, Learn to Bend and not Break....
There are several different books out there that can help you take a different view of your illness.....
May Your God Be With You
Blessed Be

To protest. Then the reforms that were made by those protests. PROTESTant REFORMation Martin Luther King protested the catholic church's doctrine that you simply needed to go through a man to get to god. He broke off from the catholic church and reformed faith consistent with the bible no longer the b.S. That the catholics had been pushing.

God can heal whenever, whatever and wherever He wants to.
And to answer your first question:
Remission is simply something that has gone away....for a time....or perhaps forever.
