Tomato sauce is full of vitamin c, for taste mustard.

I really don't like either, except in rare situations. I think ketchup is gross, except on White Castle hamburgers, in which it adds just the right flavor and texture to the burger.
People overuse ketchup all the time. I see them glob it onto their French fries, which I think is gross. And worse yet, I see people put ketchup on their eggs in the morning (EWWWWW....) Ketchup does not belong on eggs, ever. There should really be a law that you can't put ketchup on your eggs. If a cop sees you eating your eggs with ketchup, you should get a fine. Every time I see someone in a diner eating their eggs with ketchup I want to punch them in the face.
Mustard is good when you put it on a Pastrami sandwich. Pastrami and mustard are made for each other. Otherwise there's not a whole lot of things mustard is good on either. And mustard DEFINITELY does not belong on a burger. I live in New York, and around here no fast food places will put mustard on your burger, unless you asked specifically for it (which nobody does). Yet practically every other state will give the burger to you with ketchup AND mustard unless you ask for no mustard.
Also, Chinese mustard is pretty good on some Chinese dishes, but I won't go into detail with that, since I'm sure you were talking about plain old regular mustard.

Ketchup as it goes well with more things. Although I like both ketchup and mustard on a hamburger.
I like ketchup with fried eggs, that's probably my favourite ketchup combo actually. I'd rather have vinegar on my chips though!

Different things for different purposes according to your tastes.I have ketchup with bacon and in cheese sandwiches.I like mustard,English, with cooked meats,ham etc.With burgers I prefer French mustard(Dijon).I know people who smother everything with ketchup, including roast dinners,which doesn't seem right to me as you lose the flavour of all that lovely beef or lamb.With lamb I have mint sauce.

the other half says ketchup, i say mustard. Mustard gives a good kick to whatever you are putting it in. Though if i'm eating a hot dog, i have to have both!!

CHUP CHUP CHUP!!!
Coz mustard is an acquired taste and doesn't go with as much. Plus it can't make bad food better!!
Saying that, have you ever put a 2p coin into a bowl of ketchup for a few minutes? Try it and see what happens!!
