It can be a few things.. You should seek out advice from an ENT doctor who can evaluate you.

Any type of situation like that with your ear should be addressed by ENT doctor. If it is just wax, they can simply remove it easily right there (my husband has this done once a year, regular as clockwork!). You need to be careful and get this checked so that a possible infection source can be eliminated that may permanently cause hearing loss or damage.

Probably dryed skin and wax build up don't twirl q-tips in your ear as this only hardens wax and compacts wax and skin get um cleaned and once every 2 weeks put a drop of olive oil in your ears.

You do not have to go to an ENT. Any medical assistant in a primary care physicans office can flush out your ears. It is painless and only takes a couple of minutes.

I also had this problem. It felt stopped up, and would ring.
I went and had it looked at by a doctor, and I was told there was a little infection in the ear. Problem is sometimes you don't get anything for it.
