my son is ten months old and he is a climber. we have a low window in our bedroom and its a window that you can sit pictures and other things in. well he climbs in the window and throws the pictures and cell phone charger on the floor. We have bought gates and all the little things you can buy. i didnt see anything for low windows.

I'm a catalog junkie and got this one called "Leaps and Bounds" for preschoolers. They have a window guard, but they are not cheap. I wonder if you make one of your own? Here's the link to the website!

Guardian Angel also makes a window guard... You can also purchase other (a little cheaper) window guards at a lot of home depots. You can get them with safety release buttons that can be removed by firefighters... I would not put anything like a dresser in front of the window. If there were a fire there might not be a way to get out...

They have brackets I think at One Step Ahead so the window cant be opened too far for them to get out. You can also buy guards but that looks expensive compared to the brackets.

Put bars outside the window. Some that can be removed after he grows.

Get the saftey things for windows. You can only open them so far and not enough for him to get through.

they actually have baby gates that you put in so the kids cant get to them
