ok i dropped outta school when i was 16. i was way behind i got held back twice for skipping so much school and i just figuered i wouldnt be able to catch up. Now my dad is strict when it comes to school. its been almost two years and i told him i was graduating in the summer cause of a program i have taken. If i tell him though im scared that he'll never talk to me again. what should i do?

You have to respect you dad and tell him the truth as soon as possible. Although he is strict and he might punish you, but you still have to tell him. If you don't tell him and he finds out, he will even be more mad. I would tell him as soon as possible.

Hopefully you have moved to the other side of the planet from your dad before you tell him your secret. You should be very scared as your dad was/is very proud of you and now youre about to hit him right between the eyes. What do you really expect will happen when you told him this? A father always has high expectations for his children and hope they will always do better than he has. The question here is which will comethe quickest; the end of time or the time when your dad talks to you again. You have screwed up here big time and probably deserve what you get from him, but you only have yourself to thank for your mess. Good luck

how does your dad not know when you dropped out 2 years ago? the school didnt call and tell him that u dropped out? wow.... you shouldnt have dropped out trust me school was hard for me and i got behind but i got caught up and now im graduating next friday on time
but anywho you need to talk to your father about this hes more than likely gonna be mad cuz`you didnt tell him but wouldnt you rather be the one to tell him then have someone else tell him? what are you gonna do when he wants to look at colleges with you?

you really shouldnt have dropped out of school, what are you going to do without a decent education behind you?
You should go back and enroll in a college or whatever and work part time, at least youll be getting education, you should tell your father this because my parents are very strict in education especially as a black child.. tell your father this and let him know you still have ambitions for the future and youll make him proud, honestly though at 16?? what can you do for yourself at that age nothing!! you can still go to college or 6thform and then on to university if you really tried you can still do something.. if you dont youll regret it getting pregnant.. or working in your local supermarket or something
