I am quite greedy so do u think I have made my body feel like it needs more food than it actually does? If so if I stuck with it for a couple of months would it go back to normal?
I'm not overweight, just a few extra pounds to loose but I always give up because of my feelings of hunger!

yes i think you have convinced your body it needs the 'greedy' amount of food it has been given and is now having a hard time getting used to your new routine. don't worry, your body will soon become accustomed to it and you won't feel as hungry once you have been doing it for a while

good luck :) and don't give up, because you are just giving in to your old ways!!

Healthy food generally has fewer calories. So you can get away with eating a much larger volume and you still do not consume the fat calories.
Also, if you are used to eating alot of carbs or greasy food your stomach may be bloated and will need a few days of healthy eating for it to shrink to a normal size. Going on experience, you stomach will feel comfortably full on a smaller portion within a week.

Stick with it! Once you notice a difference it will motivate you to keep going. Dont punish yourself either. Convince yourself to be good for 2 weeks then have one day off. It is only 2 weeks! A tiny percentage of a year.

you certainly have a point there.................
In many cases, what you describe has got to do with an underlying symptom, usually stress...........
do you work out ?
do you eat enough fruit and vegetables?

and definately don't focus too much on eating; dieting usually don't work, as you bound to fall back in your old patern.

also remember: the more calories you use in a day, the more your body needs; when I want to loose weight, I eat more sensible and work out more; although this is not a lot, it usually works - it will take at least 3 to 4 weeks to loose a couple of kilo's

The food you eat sensibly doesnt satisfy your stomach .. you need to eat more of the healthy food it may sound like it will be bad but its actually better for you then a little because your digestive system is working to its best ability ,,,

You certainly have an interesting case. These signs I have seen before. My mums dog had a ferocious appetite to the point of stealing food out of peoples hands. The vet identified it as Cushings disease. (I may not have spelt it correctly). This disease can only be identified via a blood test. I would strongly recommend doing this to rule out disease. To leave an an animal undiagnosed is torture for them. If diagnosed with cushings disease you will have a very dificult decision to make. I hope its nothing serious.

I think alot of it is in the mind because you know you are restricted to what you can eat.Try doing something to take your mind off it.Have a glass of water half an hour before your meals this will make you feel fuller.
