Happier than people that aren't pentacostal. My husband tells me that being filled with spirit will cure all my hangups.

All Christians are spirit filled...I would have no idea about their level of happiness as being a Christian is not a guarantee of happiness in this life. I think that would depend upon the person.

I am spirit-filled, but I can't say I'm happier than anyone else. I do know that I have joy, peace, understanding, and in right relationship with God. It's really a heighten awareness of things from a spiritual perspective and communing with God on a different level. I do feel better now than before I got filled. That's all I can say about that.

It depends. A lot of people get filled with the Holy Spirit, but the initial flame seems to diminish eventually. Not everyone. If you are continually seeking God and spending time in his presence then yes, you will be a lot happier...if you are like the foolish virgins in Mathew 25...then you probably wont be nearly as happy as you could be. ;o)

There isn't a difference between "spirit-filled" Christians and "other Christians"...once you've accepted Christ and confess to be His follower you also accept God and the Holy Spirit (the Holy Trinity). So all Christians are "spirit-filled", meaning the Holy Spirit lives inside them. Some just choose to listen and be guided and directed by the Holy Spirit and others choose not to.

I'd say His Holiness the Dalai Lama and several other precious lamas have appeared much happier than some people who self-professed to being "spirit-filled" and "happier". I suppose it's all in the perceptions isn't it? Sweeping generalizations...

Perhaps they are delusional and delusional people tend not to live in the real world but a fantasy world that they've created in their own head!

There is no spirit to be filled with!

No, not really some may be but others might be miserable and scared. I can't judge all of the christians because everyone is different so I can't judge everyone the same.
