Not only are they a rip off,the food they sell is foul!My hubby a truck driver on occasions is forced to park overnght and that is where the real rip off occur.I believe it is about £17 for overnight parking which has to come out of his own pocket until he takes the receipt to his boss at the end of the week. Then he waits until the following weeks wages to get it back. The car park stinks of pee and there is noise all night so not much value for money there either.

such as you I additionally use the twin carriageway plenty. I now take sandwiches and a flask, and basically use the provider station for the john. One time I had forgotten to top off with gas in the past putting out, the provider station charged 10 pence in keeping with liter better than the interior reach petrol station, i offered adequate to get me homestead. that's plenty extra constructive in united statesa. on the Interstate, there motorways. you spot an illustration for gas give up and there will be 5 - 6 gas stations all competing to your online business organisation, or an illustration that declares nutrition give up and there will be 5 - 6 diners competing, and an analogous for inns. it is not oftentimes I say this however the individuals have have been given it actual.

Yep its a total rip off and half the time the stuff tastes disgusting!! I laugh when they do things like 2 for £2 when you can get double that elsewhere and it tastes no different from the shop stuff!

dont ever stop at motorway service stations, they are rip offs as are little rip offs, sorry, little chefs.

we always go off the motorway, and find local supermarket or pub to stop at... and invariably the petrol is cheaper when you are off the motorway!

i think its a captive audience attitude to pricing!!

They most certainly do. I used to do long distance lorry driving and found it easier to wait untill i got to the town/city where my deliveries were then go to a local supermarket to eat. I hate Service Stations and all the greed that they stand for.

Most of them seem to overcharge and the quality is somewhat dubious, and service is often appalling, So yes they are a rip off in my book.

It's not a matter of 'who thinks', more of 'everybody knows'!
It's just another example of the Rip Off mentality in this god forsaken country of ours! It's probably Tony Blair's fault!

I travel on UK motorways regularly, and REFUSE to pay the exorbitant prices. I take my own, much nicer and cheaper!
