haha this is lame but i have always had problems with my weight and fancy losing a stone (or two!!), the only problem is nothing seems to work for me. i've tried weight watchers and slimming world and all that, but just cant get into the right frame of mind. Is there anyway to get into the right frame of mind???
I'm going to start exercising loads when my exams have finished, will this be enough to help me lose weight? oh, and giving up chocolate too i think might help, as am raving chocoholic (have given up before...!)

the most important thing is : there is no such thing as a "diet" !!!!!!
as you already mentioned; your attitude has to change !
healthy living, healthy food, etc, etc,
and remember that this can't be achieved overnight !! (start training step by step, don't overdo it
Its a way of life (enough hours sleep, not too much stress, always light lunches, three/four times a week fitness, sport, no alcohol (or very little), very little coffee and drink herbal tea.......
contact me directly if you would like more tips............
Enjoy life !!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

you need to find out you BMI, then the allowed calorie intake for your body. You should make a point of doing 30 minutes of exercise everyday to bring up your metabolism as well. Ask a friend to be your work out partner. This will give you moral support and someone to answer to when you do not feel like exercising. And don't forget to drink lots of water!

sometimes it can take a few weeks to get into the zone... u can't lose weight if you don't stick with anything.. like right now i am doing the weight watchers program, and its slow going but i just started... i have days where i give up, but i just start again the next day..
its one of thoes things where you try try try again.. but if you keep quitting nothing will work...

Your metabilism is low and you can help it higher by going on a REGULAR diet by eating bit by bit each day not in one go, so you spread your meals, int he morning cereals or anything to energise your day in between that and lunch a salad with tuna or chicken and for lunch a pasta or something and at dinner rice carbohydrates so you can burn the cals easily at night b4 goin bed,you should have a timetable for excercise so it pucks up!
