You know perfectly well why some Americans do not like some who profess the Islamic belief.

Lets lump all Muslims as all being the same and all Christians as all the same, and all Atheists as the same. I mean there are no fat Muslims, and no skinny Americans, And all Muslims are good, and all Christians are bad, and the Atheists are perfect. Come on ...there is good and bad in all of us...no one is perfect...God can't be with you in eternity unless you are perfect. This is because He is perfect. Jesus is the only living sacrifice that can cleanses us after death (not before death as we continue to sin right up to death. As Christians we are supposed to TRY not to sin, as we are not all the same, some of us need to try harder. ) After death the sacrifice of Jesus allows us to be with God through eternity. Just because Muslims, Atheists, etc. don't believe in His sacrifice does not mean anything until they die. Only God knows who is going to be separated from Him after death. Where you will be...only God knows...How many heavens there are...who knows. While we are on earth it would be nice if we stopped lumping people together in race, religion, wealthy ,poor etc, as all having the same character. A lot of Christians won't agree with what I have said, but that doesn't make me wrong or right. We all hopefully grow in our beliefs and we are all ahead and behind in certain aspects of our beliefs whatever they may be. It would be nice if we could grow and learn from each other without malice. We are all probably a little right and a little wrong, but we should be able to respect each others views.

Americans aren't just Christian. Americans are Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, atheist, agnostic and countless other things.

I agree, few people practice what they preach. Hypocrisy, I think, is inherent in the human condition; even so, we should still strive to avoid being two-faced.

There is a distinction between "Arab" and "Muslim," you know. Arabs, like Americans, can be Muslim, Christian and any other faith....

People in the middle-east don't do bad stuff??? Dude...what are u smoking? Christians and Muslims dislike each other...true; but if they got to know each other more, they would make the best of friends..they've so many things in common! Fake sense of superiority, being proud of nothing and thinking everyone else is wrong...they are just made for each other!

Maybe you have no class, but I certianly do. Oh and by the way not all Americans are Christians....Good Muslims don't do horrible things but just as there are evil minded and evil hearted Christians there are Muslims and Pagans and Baptists and Catholics and Athiests who are evil minded and evil hearted. The list of religions is growing longer as the days go by and with it so are people who misrepresent their religions and countries.....JUST LIKE YOU

I am American. I am not Christian. I hold a high set of values. I have nothing against muslims. I put little value on material possessions. You may not be fat but you certainly show your lack of class. That's what I think about that.

America is viewed as a christian nation. not Christian, as in all adhering to the religion, but christian, with a lowercase "c", as in having those basic principles as an expectation and being Christian by tradition. just like not all muslims in Iraq are actually dedicated Muslims.

Most Americans don't adhere to Christian principles other than "thou shalt not kill" on a normal basis.

I don't like the state any country in the world is in right now. and I don't blame Muslims for terrorism. just the individuals.

Alhamdullilah :) Welcome, Sister/Brother! ok so i'm not likely to lie - it won't be undemanding to your loved ones to settle for - extremely while (utilising your description of your father and mom as foundation) your father and mom do not seem very..open minded, and sound like purely yet another sufferer of the media's misconceptions. i'm SO so sorry for what you're dealing with - it is one difficulty to not be accepting, yet to chortle of their toddler's face like it is frightening. do exactly not supply up - you have reverted, and that i will make Duaa for you - Allah is conscious proper, and could make this all much less complicated for you in case you fairly have the honest intentions of being Muslim and submitting your self to Allah. I say reverted because of the fact we are all born Muslim at start - it is our social atmosphere (family contributors, father and mom, college, social atmosphere) that deters us faraway from Islam - yet Alhamdillulah, you have discovered your calling as quickly as returned :) I advise you watch video clips via Dr.Zakir Naik (purely youtube him) to be waiting to formulate an exceedingly stable respond approximately explaining the pink meat difficulty (at the start) which will open your father and mom' minds - I toddler you not, this student is extremely coherent and conveys the message very nicely. Please, do not hesitate to digital mail/message me each time - i'm in basic terms a fellow sister, who's greater advantageous than satisfied to assist Insha'Allah :) Plus i'm sixteen, so i can relate on those issues. i'm hoping my suggestion helps you :)

I'm an American, I'm Buddhist, essentially atheist and I do NOT dislike Muslims. Unkind speech like yours is only going to reap you a storm of anger... when will people learn altruism?

Lisa,

When you talk to the mirror, you should not post your words to us. Only when you talk to us should you do so. Now, if you look in the mirror and think yourself fat, don't cry about others, but recognize that you are the problem.
