I agree you should call today. In fact, the employer should be calling you since he didn't show up. Ask to speak to the person you were meant to be meeting and politely ask what happened and say you would still like to meet with him. It doesn't hurt to see what he says. At any rate, ask him if he still has your portfolio and ask when would be a convenient time to pick it up. If he's not interested in you, he'll probably leave it with the receptionist, and if he is, then he'll want to meet you.

Since they have your portfolio call them today. Let them know that you are going to need that back or to schedule an apointment. This was quite rude on their part and I dont see how they can treat you this way. If this was not the job that you really wanted, I would take my portfolio, give a great interview and turn down the job since they should know what they are missing out on. If they can not provide you with a common curtisy call when they were not going to make it, this may not be a great company to work for.

You can walk from there. The " two " important people have seen you and if they are interested , they will certainly revert.
Drop an email to the owner ( if he / she was the one , you were supposed to meet with ) stating that you have met with the team , and regret to not being able to meet him/her. But would be willing to do so on next available opportunity.
If he/she responds , you are IN.

I'd probably consider looking elsewhere. The employer may have a real good reason why he/she didn't show up, but if it's been a couple of days, there's no excuse now.

Call today, but think about how you might feel working for someplace that left you hanging for that long and an owner that just never showed.
Good luck! :)
