Can a woman enlist as a corpman? If not, what hospital/medical jobs are available to her?

currently HM is closed to females for new acessions. there are no other medical jobs in the Navy, save Nurse, PA or Doctor/Dentist, but those are comissioned Officers.
your only other option is being in the medical services is more important than being in the Navy, is Army or Air Force. (Marines use Navy Corpsmen).

Yes, women can be corpsmen. When I was in the Marine Corps, we had females corpsmen stationed with us. In fact, there are jobs that require females...like having an assistant that is the same sex as the patient.
Plus, being a corpsman opens you up to a lot of jobs. You really should go see a recruiter to find out about all of the cool things you can do if you are a corpsman!

Right now, start making a list of all the questions you can think of. When the time comes, take your list of questions with you to the hometown military Recruiter and "pick their brain" to ensure all your questions are answered.
Also ask what types of high school courses you would also need to graduate high school, which would be to your advantage for your potential future job, when enlisting in the military.

Females can be corpman, but the openings are limited. IT is a job that alot of females want, so few get it. It kind of sucks.

A woman can definitely be a corpsman! Talk to a recruiter for more information though about excatly what is available.

Absolutely, When I was a corpsman, there were many women that were corpsmen.
