So installed a pioneer premier head unite deh 880 i believe in my 98 ls integra almost a year ago. I also hooked um a jl w7 and 500/1 in it at the same time. it worked alright for the first couple of months. then my sub started shutting on and off every once in a while and kept getting worst till i didn't turn on anymore. So about two weeks ago i went to go behind it and check the wiring and everything seemed to be alright. so i put it back in and then my deck would no longer turn on as well as my clock doesn't work and my dashboard doesn't light up the seat belt and gas light and all those still work just the dash doesn't light up so i can't see the speedometer or tachometer at night. so i was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem and possibly tell me what i need to do to fix it

Look for a blown 10-amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood.

Edit: as for your amplifier problem, there are several things that can cause the amp not to turn on. To troubleshoot, you really need a digital multimeter or at least a test light. Put the black probe on the amp's ground terminal, and look for voltage on the power terminal and remote terminal while the deck is switched on.

If you have no voltage or low voltage on the remote terminal, then it probably means that the remote output wire is shorted or damaged between the head unit and the amplifier, or possibly the head unit's remote output is defective.

If you have no voltage or low voltage on the power terminal, you might have a problem with the fuse at the battery. Fuses can look good and still be defective or blown, so try replacing the fuse. Also make sure the connections at the fuse holder and battery are clean and tight.

If you have low or no voltage on both the power and remote terminals, check your ground connection.

your problem is a blown fuse. Check the fuse box for the instrumental lights fuse I think is about 10 A (red one) and if is blown replace it. If not check them all and find the one which is blown. check you wiring make sure none of them is grounding or a short in the speakers wires, before replace the fuse. If the fault is still presente it will continue to blow it.

i might verify the fuse container, if not something there i might verify the relay circuit container oftentimes discovered under the hood in a plastic sq. container. maximum probable a fuse nonetheless. stable success

You blew a fuse. You probably have the system overloaded.
