Persoanlly, I think that it's basically a right vs wrong issue, but this is not what I'm told by illegal immigration advocates (who obviously claim that anyone who's against illegal immigration is a racist).

No, all the pro illegal people are just using the racism card, because there is nothing else that sounds remotely valid that they can use to justify that ILLEGAL immigration is in fact against the law. I personally think that it's a last resort that can sound like a good argument in any situation when someone is clearly in violation of some sort of rule or law. i.e. I got pulled over for drinking because the cop saw that I was black, or how about Yeah I was speeding but he only pulled me over because I'm asian. Or, The only reason I got arrested for arson is because I'm white. As I said it's a poor excuse when you are guilty and you have no argument, so voila, there's the race card. I wish these people could understand that this issue has nothing to do with race. Ask anyone who actually knows facts about the vast negative aspects of illegal immigration, and you will find that they are opposed from any illegal immigration. Asian, hatian, puerto rican, Canadian, anywhere. The whole point is that they violated border laws, and need to be dealt with. I mean if it's okay for everyone to sneak in without using the proper channels of becoming a citizen, why not just let everyone just come and go as they please. What are these same people going to say when someone sneaks over and brings the deadly bird flu over? No one ever see's the true aspect of things until something major happens.

I'm so sick of this race card issue. I'm mixed, and I am 100% opposed to illegal immigration. There are even legal mexican groups opposed to illegal immigration. What is their argument in regards to them. Are they racist too? They need to get a real argument. And quit using the race card to cop out.

It is legal vs illegal
It is wrong vs right

The illegal advocates use the race card because they have seen people back down to people like Jesse Jackson and Al Shaprton. It has worked for them. When those two men start screaming racist people back down and throw money at them. The illegals and their activist see this and are now using this method. It works nobody wants to be called a racist. Look at this site the pro amnesty / pro illegal use the raciest card all the time. I'm a raciest because I want these people to go home and come back legally. I want these people to pay taxes. I want these people to assimilate.

People in our government rather be politically correct and liked than to have a back bone and stand up for what is right.

It's right vs. wrong. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE!!!!!!!

The pro-illegals always pull out the race card when they have no legitimate argument. They call us racists and bigots because we don't want the illegal here.

Illegal immigration is only about our laws. It doesn't matter where they come from. If they are here illegally, they are breaking our laws and are thus CRIMINALS. They sponge off the taxpayer, destroy or schools and health care system.

I am sick about the fact that our government refuses to enforce our laws. Now the illegals are basically saying we are here to stay so you better get used to it. THIS IS WRONG!

No. It's not a race issue. It is right vs. wrong. Open border and illegal alien (THEY ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS) advocates play the race card because otherwise they don't have a leg to stand on.

They use race to distract us from the real issue, and that is that our country is being invaded by millions of criminals.

The pro illegal advocates have no way to defend illegal so they throw the race card out. They are the ones trying to make it a race issue not the anti illegals.

I have wondered about this for years. I now live in a border town. In my trade (I do woodwork on mega-yachts), illegals form a substantial part of the work force. Mind you, that we work for mega-millionaires, who can clearly afford to employ US citizens. I am friends with many of these illegals, some are really good guys. These guys just waltz back and fourth across the border, with relative ease.
One of the issues to me are the "bad" criminals, who just waltz back and forth across the border with relative ease.
They cross the border, steal a car (or whatever) and bring it to Mexico. It is common. They easily bring drugs, or whatever the hell they want into this country.
There is absolutely no border security of any relevance.
Every other country has border laws, and tries to adhere to them, why should we be different.
The fact is that the Mexican economy is extremely dependent on every illegally earned dollar that is sent "home".
The only people, that I know, who claim racism, have families in Mexico, or some other country.
Why should we be the meal ticket for a corrupt country anyway? In the age of "terrorism", we need to take a long hard look at how many "freebies" we shall offer the enemy.

That's the exact spin they're trying to put on the issue.

It couldn't be farther from the truth.

Next time you're discussing the "racist" issue with one of these illegal immigrant advocates, get them to translate "La Raza" for you and explain it and the accompanying motto:

"For the Race, everything. For those outside the Race, nothing".

Gee, kinda makes ya wonder who's the real racist, huh?

Not all illegal aliens are brown.
Not all brown people are illegal aliens.
Therefore illegal immigration is NOT a white versus brown thing.
Period.
Illegal aliens from over 100 countries were deported last year from the U.S. The overwhelming MAJORITY of illegal aliens in the U.S. are brown, so it stands to reason that the overwhelming majority of those deported are brown. Simple math.
It is a LEGAL versus ILLEGAL issue.

Nope, its a legal vs. illegal issue. Its right there in the wording...Illegal immigrant. I don't care about the rest of it, what color they are or anything especially because a lot of them are eastern European, and those people are as white as bed sheets. If they are legal, I say enjoy yourself, find a job, and support your family. If they are illegal, I say get the hell out! Thanks and have a nice day.

Unfortunately the "Immigrant" groups have made it into a race issue...You are right, I am not racist...heck my wife is a legal Colombian immigrant, and we paid all the money to make her legal...my wife has stated the obvious...these groups are not for all Illegal Immigrants, but the Mexican Illegal Immigrant...I have found whenever a group does not have a valid argument for their cause, they play the race card...
