My dog Is about 9 months old. He loves to dig. He digs at my back to wake me up if I don't repond when he licks my face. I think he's trying to get into the room to see if I am home or not. He is a pretty well trained dog so far, he is potty trained inside on Pee-Pee pads and doesn't chew on furniture he barks a bit at things when he is tired. Other than that he is a great dog well behaved and loves to play. I think he might have a bit of anxiety because we do work but when we come home we play and train. I don't know he just digs and sometimes in rondom spots of the house.

Be firm with the dog, but affectionately and let the dog know that it is unacceptable. Training with voice and hand commands is always the answer if you want an obedient dog.

First of all, why is your dog doing it? Is it bored or trying to get in the room?

Spray some "bitter yuck" on that area. You can get it at PetSmart and its much more effective than the bitter apple spray.
