I cant think of any musicals but I can think of a straight play. it has more characters than you specify for but I suppose it could be altered a little. An Inspector calls about a family who are enjoying an engagement party and they get visited by an inspector and it turns out they have all contributed in making a girl commit suicide without realising.
Arthur Birling, Sybil Birling, Shelia Birling, Eric Birling, Gerald Croft, Inspector Goole and a maid (who has about two lines). So 2 female (3 technically) and 4 male. I hope this helps I think its a good play and I studied it in English.

What about You're a good Man Charlie Brown? The cast is only a few people.

romance - guitarr heaven - trumpet/harp hell - play around (won't be able to you merely see the devil enjoying a play around) rowdy - drums unhappy - harmonica/piano happy - flute unusual - bassoon/accordian/armpit (lol)

"Laundry and Bourbon" for the straight play. It is four women.

For the musical, I would either go with [title of show] (and yes, that's the name of it), or tick, tick....BOOM!

What do you need it for? Where are you located? Are you willing to pay?
