This purpleish balckish berry has a seed inside and white stuff inside, can you help me identify it?

It is a shrub and the leaves are greenish red and the shrub is about 4 feet tall.the leaves are oval and not really pointy.

Could you describe the plant and fruit a bit more?
How tall is the plant; what do the leaves look like; what size is the fruit; where did you find this plant; does it grow wild where you are (and where is that); what colour are the stems of the plant...?
