Our dogs were always fed all the table scraps, meat, vegetable, fruit, bread, and etc. They thrived. They also got a ration of dog foo, but they were allergic to the red dye in dog food so I had to read labels and buy chicken gizzards extra.

you should not feed onions and grapes. raw potatoes and tomatos. also many dogs have allergies to corn but i don't know that it will make them "sick"

i have recently switched to feeding my dogs raw foods including: raw meaty bones with plain yogurt and fruits and veggies. they are so much more healthy now that i have ditched the manufactured crap that is sold in the stores.

grapes, raisins.
pitted fruits (like peaches, pears, cherries, and apricots -the pits of these fruits contain small doses of cyanide, which can be fatal to smaller dogs)

dogs are actually carnivorous so i do not think they'll like vegetables and fruit very much... but, i read somewhere that chocolates may contain substances (theobromine) that can potentially harm your pet. Cured meats also, like ham, bacon and hotdogs and corned beef...

It is ALWAYS best not to feed your dog any "people" food at all. Don't start the trend and they won't beg whenever you eat. Just stick with DOG food for the DOG.
