Besides pregnancy, what do dreams (particularly nightmares) about fish symbolize?

I have dreams about fish a lot. They are usually pretty different.

Once I dreamt of looking at a fish in a tank. It was a beautiful blue fish with pretty fins and then all of a sudden it started to grow human arms and legs and it got all gross and deformed looking. It was horrifying, but I couldn't stop watching it grow until it broke out of the tank and started flopping around by my feet.

I had another dream where I was wading in a beach and got stuck in something that looked like seaweed, but it turned into big black catfish that ate my legs. I felt paralyzed and tried to call for help, but nothing came out. I fell backwards into the water then I woke up.

Finally, I had a dream where I felt sick and went to the laundry sink in my basement and started throwing up orange, jell-o looking stuff into the sink. That turned into live goldfish, and I continued to throw up more and more fish. They got bigger and uglier as time progressed.

There are a few examples.

Fish represent the living processes of thought and feeling that go on under the surface of your mind. To fish is therefore to seek and bring to light, your inner feelings, or spiritual realisation. Fishes symbolise the ideas, feelings, treasures or sustenance of our inner, unconscious life.

You can also fish for compliments or information. Or something can be fishy, not quite right. Fish can have a sexual significance also, and may represent fertility, pre-natal experience, or life in the waters of the womb. In a woman's dream, if it includes a fish, many small fishes in a bowl or small tank, it can represent pregnancy.

Fish can represent several things, they can represent people, demonic spirits and provisions. As in your first dream with the beautiful fish it grew arms and legs. This was letting you know that this fish represented a person who had the appearance of beauty, but they were actually exposed as gross or deformed. Whoever this person is their true character is about to be exposed. The second fish when you were caught in the seaweed represents a demonic spirit which is out to hinder you in progressing forward. The catfish is associated with uncleaness. Your third dream where you threw up the jello and they turned to goldfish. It looks like you got an idea into your spirit or heart which had an appearance of a blessing and you could not digest it spiritually. And by throwing it back up, it was exposed as something really gross and detestable.

Dreams of being submerged with fish sometimes symbolise cleansing and "getting over" something from your past.
Nightmares about drowning or being eaten by fish often mean being overwhelmed by something you can't control.

Take a look at the fish in your dream - what are they doing? What is happening to them? The other fish, of course, represent people around you - people you don't know personally like family or best friends... co-workers, classmates, the crowd.

i've got in basic terms all started having fish, so fairly im a noob. i do unlike vast tanks, they require particularly some paintings in the experience that your coronary heart isn't into it. MY dream fish tank is a 30 gallon saltwater tank (no longer too vast to look after), yet as quickly as I actual have somebody build and look after the tank for me, and that i basically could desire to relish, then a tank going around my room or on one in all my partitions would be my dream tank, yet thats no longer likely going to take place.

Religious science correlates the events of the dreams to the events of the life of the person who had dreams and they are warnings as well as good news depending upon the moral virtues and status of the person dreaming it.

In my case, I just get up and make some tuna salad. I'd do sushi but at that hour, nothing is open.
