Regardless of what the truth turns out to be, I'd be thrilled to know it. After all, it's the truth.
Interestingly however, most people of faith would NOT want to know the truth, if the truth means that they were wrong. They would rather go on believing as they do even if it's not the truth.

I would be happy to know the truth (that's what is important to me), but it does depend on whether or not it was a happy truth or not. I mean, if I found out that we were all puppets in some sick, demented deitie's mind game, then I might be a little disappointed.
