One of my pet hates is when an American says that he/she loves the British accent. There's no such thing. There are four countries involved in Britain.
Do you mean an English accent, a Scottish accent, a Welsh accent or an Irish accent? Even then there are numerous regional accents but we'll let you off with those but can you please be more specific.
'British accent' leaves me none the wiser as to the accent in your head.
Now I've had my rant. I like the New York accent but if you mean a 'foreign' foreign accent, French or Russian

Saucy little monkey, ye are. We have many accents in England, sweety- some nice to hear, some not- some regions have dialects that are full of very funny jokes- maybe a lot like parts of South America. I would assume the accent you're sued to hearing is the Hugh Gramt type- which is basically a London/Cambridge/Oxford accent- which usually well-off or middle-classes and upwards have.
I don't imagine you'd be too fond of the South London or Cockney accents, nor Liverpool, or Manchester (think Daphne Moon from Frasier)- I have heard some unhappy customers about them!

My best friend & roommate was a Latina, and I loved her accent, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself, hun!! I like the Brittish accent's too, but when they speak fast I cant understand a word they say!! Isn't that just crazy, and here they are speaking the same language as us American's!! So, because I cant understand them when they speak fast they no longer are my favorite language as they used to be when I was younger.........My oldest daughter's dad, was "French Canadian" and when we were intimate he would speak (what little french he knew) in my ear, and what a "Turn-On" that was!! I just love the Irish accent's, and the Australian's accent's alot!! So, I would have to say the Australian Accent, is my "All Time" Fave!! Smile!! Great Question!!

I adore the French accent and I think that the Irish one is cool too but my favourite foreign accent is broad Canadian. I am English and by British I guess you mean that rather than Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish.

This teacher at school has a strong Greek accent, I love it!! my French teacher has a weak jamaican twang with a hint of French, she's from Martinique... It's wicked! The French accent is, of course, nice, more from the north than the south and, the Australian accent is funny! hehe!!

I like a British Accent too.... but only a posh one! I can't stand that slangy stuff from East London. I also like French accents.

I'm English but I go to America where most people say they like my accent ( a bit Hugh Grant apparently!), but I like my girlfriends accent. She is Iranian but speaks with a French accent! Sexy time!

I really love Italian accents or French..The words seem to just roll off the tongue and of course each sounds so romantic.
