Ps. I live in Chicago, where there are a bunch of busses, they cost 2$ each ride! and sometimes it takes 3 buses to get some where and 3 back, so 6 all together. 12$

but, the gas is really costly too, I dont know if its better to drive or bus?

I was 37 when I finially learned to drive and got my license, 12 yrs ago. I lived on Long Island, and took the bus where ever I wanted to go, and took the train into NYC to work. I moved to Fla in 1992 and took buses down here- few and far between, and yikes, is it HOT! So I finially broke down and got a license. I had to take a pre-permit class with a bunch of 14 year olds (you can get a permit here at 15) re the perils of drinking and driving- how fun!

Well, I know a young lady who is currently 22 years old and she doesn't know how to drive and at the rate she's going, I wouldn't be surprise if she's 24-25 before she finally learns. Also, I worked with a woman who didn't learn to drive until she was 23 years old. Her reason was simply because she was scared of the road.

Anyway, you are not the only one, buddy. I'm sure there are several thousands of people in there 20s who don't have license or know how to drive.

If you live in a big city with plenty of public transportation and you don't feel the open road calling you for a cross country road trip or anthing of that nature...well, then, I guess just don't bother with your license. The bus is likely overall much cheaper for you - you don't have to pay for gas, insurance, payments, maintenance, etc.

We have a family friend who is in her 50's and still doesn't know how to drive, after all these years!!! Her husband drives her wherever she wants to go, but imao, she should know how to drive so she can go where ever she wants, whenever she wants. I'm 16 and I can't wait until I get my driver's license, which will hopefully be today!!!! If I were you, I would get my license as soon as possible.

This is ONLY acceptable if you live in New York City. I have relatives in NYC whom are MUCH older without drivers license or the aspirations to attain them.

If you live anywhere else, then you need to reevaluate life.
