I'm not a wino.. It is just a MD is good wine all in all, and cheap, and no hangover. Nothing like a joint on the beach, and a bottle of Mad Dog to get a party started, and make lots of friends. It isn't as raunchy as Thunderbird or Night Train, but I like Night Train, too. They even have an orange flavor for 20/20 now that tastes like screwdriver. Any problems with it?... So, to hell with any other form of booze.
I have an idea for a "cheap wine" tasting party... and everyone can get sloshed, cheap, and is the whole point of drinking, anyway..

I once turned a college friend on to 20/20, and he never heard of it before, but his reaction the next fall was he tried it that summer, and wow!

You quit drinking Mad Dog when you were 14? How old were you when you drank it?

I was around 14-15 when I drank a bottle and a half of the stuff. I loved the taste of it on that day. I kept falling down, fell off my bike a couple times, and had to talk to a cop (glad he was a good friend of my dads). When I got home that day, I threw up, and blamed it on some kool-aid that my mom had bought. My mom bought my story, but my dad said he could smell the alcohol. A couple days later the police officer told my dad about the situation as well. I didn't get in any trouble because my dad said he figured I learned my lesson. After that day, I can not drink 20/20. The smell of it kinda makes me feel sick. You are right on about the quick, cheap drunk thing though.

Kudos to you for finding something you like and standing up for it.

Myself, I do not like MD 20/20. Had one bad experience with it in High School, which I witnessed, and I will stay away from it. Of course, now, I do not drink wine at all, whether cheap or super expensive.

I also have always found pre-mixed/flavored alcohols to not taste good. I would rather mix it myself.

Must be nice to be able to enjoy such an inexpensive drink. Cheers!

The last time I had MD was around 1992. I was 18. For a good buzz, it was incredibly easy to drink. Ahhh, the college years...

haha I have not even THOUGHT about mad dog in about 4 years....I'm more of a Boones girl myself. Can't drink too much because it's stupid sweet, but there is a time and place for everything. And it's dead cheap.
