so why do I meet ladies that leave me for being "too nice?"
Is it because I tend to date women my age?

I meet women at diffrent places, the mall, library, restaurants. I don't have any problem striking up a conversation with a stranger.
By too nice I mean, I won't speak when angered because I can't take back words. I don't get jealous when she wants to go out with friends and don't call her to check on her, (unless she said she would be back at a certain time and said time has passed). I figured if I can't trust her with her friends, who can I trust her with? I think the whole not talking when angered bothers them, I will talk about the subject, but only after I have calmed down.

The reason why they probably don't appreciate you is because they like the "hard to get" type of guys. Gurls these days like a little challenge. When you are in a relationship don't show them how you really feel . Give it some time so they can wonder. Play hard to get. But don't be rude, show some affection, be romantic.....but not all the time. It WILL get old after a while. Make them wonder. Don't let them figure you out right away. I'm not telling you to be FAKE, be yourself...but not all the way. If you are the type that call all the time, give them some space. Don't call for about 2 days so they can miss you and you will have more to talk about.

"Too nice" is very much a polite cover for another reason. I would venture to guess that you are opverly doting in a relationship because of your insecurity. When these women talk to their girlfiends I would guess that they think you are too clingy and wanting too much too soon when it comes to emotions or commitment. Do you wear your heart in your sleeve? Do you say things like "I could see myself falling for a girl like you" on the second date?
I may be off the mark, hard to tell with very little information about you and your relationships. The best advice I can give is that you need to look at dating from a more casual prespective...don't expect so much. Most of all, make SURE you maintain a "life" outside of dating. Get a gym membership, go out with the guys once a week.... that way the next girlfriend doesn't feel the pressure of being all important in your life and you show some independence and lack of availabilty.

It probably is not the AGE of the women that is the problem, but you are definitely dating the wrong kind of person. There are women out there that want a man just like you. Finding them is tricky, but the key is to get involved in activities that will put you in contact with those kind of girls. Bars and nightclubs? No. Church, classes, volunteer work, hobby clubs, etc? Better. Figure out what YOU are interested in. Then get involved with activities involving your interests. You'll increase the odds of finding someone more like you exponentially. Good luck!

Well personally you sound like someone i would date almost all girls want a nice guy, I guess it all depends on teh type of girls you go out with, step back and take a look at the girls you usually tend to take. and where you meet them. it's really hard to meet a potential partner in a club or bar. You seem like a sweet guy just be patient and the right girl will come along.

Am I the only girl who doesn't think "too nice" is a bad thing? WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE?! I think I'm in the same boat as you except I'm not a man. But honestly, I've been trying to find someone like that and I never ever ever ever 10000x found one. I'm beginning to think they're just not there anymore. I would never ever take advantage of someone like that, instead I would be happy and do the same for him. But too bad, I never have the chance to.

Yep, this is a hard one isn't it. I spent many years alone in the 'too nice' boat.
'Too nice' is sometimes a metaphor for too clingy and hovering. What I found that I was doing wrong was everything. In other words I was trying to do everything for her and not letting her do anything for me.
I know it can really feel good to make her the focus of everything but you may have to pull back a bit. If she offers to do something let her. And you don't always have to do what she wants to do. Let her into what you like to do. Plan a weekend of what you like and invite her along.

It's too bad that not all men are you like you. Anyway, I would have to say they are doing that to you because they are just not ready to be with someone who has a good heart. They are not used to being treated with respect so when they DO come across it, they don't know how to react other than going in the opposite direction.

Probably and they are not worthy or ready for someone to treat them nice. You can change a little by putting a little thug in it because some women are attracted to bad boys, but you don't have to go into it fully.
