Shortly after I was saved, a book came to our house by mail. It was summertime and my sister and I decided to read it. The book was about palm reading, tarot cards, and other occult ideas. I remember becoming very disturbed and uncomfortable by the book and feeling like I needed to get rid of it. My sister was not saved yet and she was wanting to have seances and use Ouija boards, it all scared me. I took the book out to our trashcan. We lived out in the country and our driveway was 1/4 of a mile in length. I remember feeling like I was being watched while I walked down the road, I was very frightened. I tore the book's pages out and dropped them into the trash, I remember feeling relieved. When I returned to the house I thought it was over and that everything would be alright. I walked into my room and my sister was sitting there with the same book on our bookcase. My heart dropped, I cannot explain how the book was back inside the house before I could make the walk back much less intact. I grabbed it and one of my dad's lighters and ran back down to the trash. I burned it and I watched it burning. I am not sure exactly what happened but the book did not return again.

One of them is the difference between the Holy Bible and scripture. If one says the scriptural 'old testament' is Genesis-Malachi, I believe that succombed to a demonic manifestation. The scriptural 'old testament' is the law of Moses (2 Cor. 3:13-14 KJV, many other English translations render itold covenant).

Demonic, as well a moronic manifestations, occur in this country every time Bush Jr. opens his mouth. Just analyze the scope of his utterances and you'll agree wholeheartedly with me, I'm sure!

I see a LOT of that. All vanity is demonic so that's an ocean of it right there. Wars are definitely demonic. As are rapes, murders, theft, lust, slothfulness. Pretty much most human activity :-) Humans create devils and demons to distance themselves from their own activity "I'm not evil, I can't make my head spin around".

i have seen and heard about alot of psychosis where the person has claimed to be possesed but is either faking for attention or using it as an excuse for their behavior. i personally have never seen anything that convinced me there was a supernatual force controlling a human in an evil way. i think it is just another way to deny severe mental illness.

Urm, you do realise that demonic possession, as it was once called, is now recognised as symptoms of epilepsy or schizophrenia right?
Or do you hold that when Shamans snort suspicious substances and claim to have "visions" and such that they're not just getting high?

Which one? I've seen Demonic Manifestation I & II (I rented part II a few months ago)...the part where the girl gets raped by the tree is crazy!
I like "Leprechaun" I & II somewhat...you have to love a warped english fairy beating gang members senseless in part II..."Ho ho ho, the luck of the Irish!"

Well, there's the Bush Administration.
And while I can't say I "saw" it , I heard quite a bit of demonic telemarketing until the no-call list laws were passed.

People who see demons need to seek psychiatric help, get off drugs or need to find a better way to rationalize negativity in their life.
That's my experience, no offense.
