Why I hear little popping sounds when increase or decrease the volume knob.???

for some reason when I increase the volume knob and you feel the little clicks of the knob spinning, also i can listen to the clicks as little popping sounds in the spaeakers. Its lke the knob clicks are synchronized with the popping sounds? What could be causing this noises? How do I fix it?

If you have older deck with an actual dedicated volume control (as in it's not a data control knob that has several functions depending on the mode of the deck) the above answers concerning cleaning/dirty potentiometer may solve your problem.

If you have a newer deck with a data entry knob (see above) your volume control is digitally stepped at the pre amp level. A couple of thing that can make the sound you describe are bad/partial grounds, missing toroidal coils on the power wires, bad interconnects (if you're using amps) and in a few instances extremely low voltages at the deck. If your deck is new and always done this I would return it. If it's a used deck or has just recently begun doing this, have it bench tested.
