the liquid coming outta the zit was thick light colored blood along with mucus...

It might be a boil, why not go to the doctor and have it checked?

It's IMPETIGO. My daughter gets it all the time. We thought it was a bug bite too. It can start as a bug bite or any other small tear in the skin then this bacteria gets in it and it becomes infected. If you pop it it will spread. You don't want it to open. You need to get a cream prescribed from your doc and use it every time you see one or they'll start popping up everywhere. If you treat it when you first see it, you can prevent it from becoming painful.

yes it sounds like a 'boil'..caused by the inflammation of hair follicles, thus resulting in the localized accumulation of pus and dead tissues. Individual boils can cluster together and form an interconnected network of boils called carbuncles. In severe cases, boils may develop to form abscesses.

A friend had one on the back of her leg...she got a fever and needed an antibiotic shot...and the doctor had to lance it.

You have a staff infection, and if I was you, I would go straight to the emergency room, instead of my doctors office, unless you are getting in right away...The can cure it, and it might just be topical, but if it is in your system, it needs to be addressed right AWAY

it's called a boil. infected pore.

application of heat causes it to come to a head where it can be drained. apply a little antibiotic cream after lancing.

wash the area well and keep dry.

Sounds like a spider bite. I would change and look over your bedding ASAP. I would also see a doctor it could be poisoness.

sounds like ingrown hairs. ive had them b4, usually they are harmless, but they can get infected, which is prob why you had the fever. but usually they go away on their own in a couple weeks.
