I think the sole purpose of Ramen noodles is to eat cheap. If you start adding stuff to it, you've just defeated the purpose. You might as well go all out and make some real asian food.
I've always wondered how many asians actually eat Ramen Noodles.

I don't have any: I banned this product from my home. It's way too high in salt and chemicals. My girls love to have it as an after school snack and did they pack on the pounds. . .
Boil some angel hair pasta: keep it in a sandwich bag in the fridge with a dab of water. When you want Noodles, Melt butter in saucepan, add some herb seasonings, like Mrs Dash, then toss in some of the noodles and stir to heat. the noodles will keep in the fridge up to a week. Much better for you!

Simply add Konnyaku fish cake slices, shredded chicken, rehydrated dried shitake mushrooms, a dash of sukiyaki sauce and soy sauce, some bok choy plus an egg cracked into the hot soup to cook and then top with spring onions! YUMMY! if you are ever in Yokohama, visit the Ramen Museum. Fabulous!

I boil the noodles and drain, and THEN add the seasoning packet. And then I put some sesame oil and hot fire oil on them. If I have it, I add some baby shrimp. (I only buy shrimp flavor.)
