Sometimes they are trying to tell you they are ill. I would take 'him' for a check up.

How old is she?

Cats can change their behaviour like anyone, she may not be ill at all. The only way you can tell is by getting her checked by a vet - they're there for you if you're ever worried about a pet.

a common sign that there is something wrong is that the cat will become very lathargic. non responsive to things that would normally get him going, especially a fine can o tuna.
you can tell if you cat is dehydrated by pullin on the nap of its neck, if the skin just stands instead of going flat, your cat needs to be hydrated.
if you think something is wrong with your cat, take it to the vet

Hi Courtney

Is your cat unwell?

Cats often hide signs of illness. They don't want to become prey. Therefore, if your cat is acting sick, it may very well be very, very ill.

A veterinarian can help you with a diagnosis and treatment, or at least supportive care to keep a terminal pet comfortable in its final days.

Is it old? Eating? Drinking? Deficating? If not he's either really sick or dying, only you know, contact your vet.

I think you need to list some symptoms here.
