The biggest problem facing humanity is not about rejection of Christ. Even during the eras where Christ was accepted the same problems have been there, and are still here.
The biggest problem facing the world today is Greed, Selfishness and Power Hunger of certain powerful Individuals. In the past there was Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, Caesar, Hitler, Joseph Stalin, etc etc etc, you name it....
The problems of the world now is no different from the past, only difference is there is better technology for humanity to destroy itself...
It has nothing to do with Christ

Practising christians globally account for just 18% of the worlds population so christians are very much in the minority, over simplifying the problem to christians and none christians is insulting to the 82% who don`t follow the teachings of Christ. I take it you are making the assumption that a pre-requisite of being in government is to be a christian. Some of the most peaceful nations on Earth are non-christian, Burma and Japan to name but a few. As an Athiest i have made a study of worlds religions and have come to the conclusion that Buddhism is the most peaceful of all.So i do not get your point.

There are still plenty of people accepting christ.
And besides, rejection of christ isn't a problem, let alone the biggest problem.
The biggest problem is people who won't accept any sort of change. They won't compromise, even when a change is needed to keep pace with the changes around them.
These people will slow down or halt progress in solving the big problems.

I think a bigger problem is some of the dogma trotted out by so-called believers that have no basis in scripture and no support in the spirit of Christ. This is the root cause of the rejection of the gospel message: the problem isn't that Christianity has been rejected, it is that it hasn't even been tried.

imo the biggest problem facing us today is the part of the christian community that spreads lies and seperation and fear. there is so much denial going on there that it is dangerous. it has contributed to this war, to hate and judgement of other races and homosexuality, it hides behind the name of christ and practices all sorts of terrible acts including degredation of women, child molestation, questionable politics. not to mention the subtle and overt messages that go out everyday that we are not good enough, we are weak, it's okay if we do wrong as long as we are christian we have gods forgiveness, if your not with us you are wrong and will be damned to hell. IMO this is the worst case of mass hysteria since the holocaust.

I agree with mesun, the biggest problem is no one has the balls to try out Jesus Christ. People prefer the darkness to light.

No, the biggest problem is fundamentalist religious types having an form of power.
Because when they have power, it seems people's rights tend to disappear.

Of course!
Nevermind the extreme poverty and suffering with HIV in Africa, the drug trafficing in South America, the disgusting loss of life and turmoil in the Middle East, the fact that China is becoming a more successful model of industry and trade than America, the fact that the intellectual and civilized center of the world (Europe) hates us and thinks we are a bigoted self-centered country riddled with debt.
But yeah, I'm sure those people who reject Christ are going to cause serious problems. SERIOUS. Way worse than AIDS and genocide in Africa, no doubt about it.
/roll eyes.

No, biggest problem is Bush's and Blair's rejection of human rights. Blair's going! Bush will go soon. The the world will resume its inexorable stride to better human rights and greater peace.
