Eating only every other day? I think your body would probably get extremely confused and start trying to hold onto the calories you're taking in on the other days because it thinks it's starving.

Don't know. But why be so strict on the diet? I guess different things work for different people! I eat healthy, but not strict. Like I eliminate chips and sodas...but not a cheeseburger (for treats!) and other stuff. I don't carry my snack containers of veggies, lol. Anyway, I do a great workout (dvd series) and I did it a couple of years ago, and lost 20 lbs and got a 6 pack in 5 weeks! Now (sadly I have giained 5 lbs of that back, and lost my 6 pack) but I just started the dvds again last week...already lost 3 lbs and inches!! If you want to join me, that'd be fun! Keep eachother motivated, etc. The dvds are only about $50 (which isn' t bad I think for the results you get!) Email me!

in no nutritionist but i don't think what u want to try will work, and mite actually be quite dangerous to not eat at all on certain days.i do however know some general rules to follow when trying to lose weight.
1, try to drink around 2 litres of ice cold water a day, this speeds up your bodys metabolism and helps to surpress hunger.
2, cut out the food high in fat, and foods that are bad for you i.e crisps, food and chocolate.
3, do regular exercise.
4,dont skip breakfast, try and eat something healthy for breakfast.
5, if you have to snack, eat some fruit.
6, rather than have 2 large meals a day, have 4 small meals(with healthy food rather than junk i.3 grilled chicken salad)
7,dont eat loads of carbohydrates after 6 pm as your body will store these as fat.

It doesn't sound like it would work and probably when you went back to regular eating, the weight would return. I have been on a great program called ISAGENIX for the past 6 weeks. Ive heard about the JUDDD Diet. Up day down day diet. Were you eat normally one day (about 2000 calories) then the next day 500 calories. many people swear by it and others have eventually gained all the weight they've lost.
Im not sure if thats what your taking about.
