Wake up the earliest in the morning.
Wake up husband.
Wake up kids.
Prepare delicious nutritious meals.
Do the laundry.
Do the dishes.
Iron the clothes.
Dust all counters/surfaces.
Weed the garden.
Take out the trash.
Bring kids to (insert activity here) practice.
Know what to do when kids fall ill.
Know how to fix a lightbulb, a leaking tap, a blown fuse.
Know how to sew, to repair a button or reaped seam.
Read nighttime stories.
Wipe the floor, windows and glass doors.
Prepare gifts..for impromptu events.
Organise parties (birthday, XMas, thanksgiving)
Do little girls' hair up(if Mom has a daughter)
Dish out proper advice plus set a good example.
Be able to tolerate all the family drama and make sure the household still runs like clockwork.

Main skill - have to make a kid. Without a kid, it is tough to be a stay at home mom. As my list is only one item, I guess I won't win.

a stay at home mom is one who cleans house, including vaccuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, laundry,dusting, one who cooks most meals especially dinner, watches and cares for childeren and takes them to activities, possibly sews, takes care of dishes, possibly gardens
