and how do you propose to do that
do you realise how many bibles are out there?
do you think you can rewrite the bible and wipe out all previous versions ?
and do you feel your thinking is so right that everybody has to change because you think you know better
yes it would require more faith...faith in your judgement
i don't think so

Once again, the most disappointing thing to me about so many Christians is their lack of knowledge of their own religion.
Those Christians fretting here over "adding to and taking away from the Bible" obviously don't know how or when it was assembled as a whole, or they'd know Revelation 22:18-19 cannot possibly refer to anything except the Book of Revelation. The Bible had not yet been assembled as a complete book when those verses were penned, so obviously the author, presumptively John the Presbyter, referred to his own work and no other.
Apparently some think Jesus came down from the Mount of Transfiguration with the King James in his hand. This sort of ignorance is embarassing to Christianity as a whole. The history of the Canon of Scripture is well attested and readily available, and being ignorant of it is simply laziness.

Christians are funny... they just don't seem to be able to comprehend the questions being asked. There are some who actually take the time to think about what you ask and attempt to answer the question you asked, but for every one of them, there are 7 that will tell you there's something wrong with your questions (they just can't seem to think outside of their own narrow world view).
Logically, your question makes sense. If it's supposed to be all about faith, then you really don't need supposed 'eye witness' accounts, just saying it happened should be good enough, and demands more faith. Someone lending credibility to it by saying they saw it with their own two eyes takes away the faith factor, because you think that the person is telling the truth. If they're telling the truth, then where is the faith?

I think you need to realise that the Bible was not written by God, but by man. Yes, not having a bible would require more faith, but then in future generations no-one would know about Jesus. besides, God loves us too much to let us do that.

LOL Sorry I had to laugh
Well that depends on who you talk to. Some say that part was added in and that famous convention. That Jesus was never seen to rise again. That is what makes Jesus divine, therefore if he was later made into a divine aspect then it never happened. They had to make thier own followers believe that as well.
The bible was written by man for man about God. It has been retranslated, edited (the removal of Song of Songs, ect) moved and debated for thousands of years. To be honest, I am not sure how much of it is true, and how much of is things ppl just want to be true.

You are confusing faith with presumption. Presumption is a belief without basis. Faith comes from reading the word of God. This may sound like an oxymoron to some but to those who have experienced true faith in their lives, it makes all the difference in the world.

Of course, that seems like a good idea.
But the Bible was promoted (I'm not saying written) by a bunch of power-hungry men determined to stamp out the pagan religions. Maybe the Bible was originally written like that...who knows?

Even faith must have some kind of basis, my friend. For example, you can't expect people to have faith in a Polidofagorous............because no one's ever heard about that before and it doesn't even exist because i just made that up from the depth of my imagination! You can't have faith in something that you've never heard about, or never seen, or never read about. Faith itself must have some kind of basis, which people can relate to.

The word says that you should not take away anything that has been written in the bible. If so his part shall be taken out of the book of life.

Dude your question doesn't make sense.
That's why people know about Jesus and His works in the first place, they're in the Bible. No such thing as more faith.=)
