i'm a current student, the worse thinga bout job corps is the drama you deal with on a regular basis between students and sometimes staff. its alot like highschool alot of immature kids. fights, drugs, alchol, sex, everything is here. this is a structure place, not as tough as the military but, you will have to wake up early and do details and be expected to follow the rules, but most of the rules are legit. if you are thinking of joining you should look at brochures call and ask questions and make sure you tour the school and talk to students and staff about how it really works.

There are some restrictions, but it's NOTHING like the military, don't worry. It's a good program, you should give them a chance. You can learn some good skills and gain some valuable discipline and life experience.
