hunny, it's something you've got to leave up to your heart. don't just give up because he's leaving!! live it out and if it's meant to be you will make it through it. my fiance is in Iraq and has been there for 11 months now and will not be home for another 5. I was a senior in hs when we started dating, i cannot see myself without him and i know i can and will wait as long as it takes for us to be together. if you love your man you will stick by his side!

NEVER FORGET about him..but let him lead his life, and serve his country. You pretty much answered your own question. You mentioned you're a senior in High School...Life a life full of excitement, looking to gain a profession yourself. If this is meant to be, it will be. You're young. Enjoy your youth, and keep in close touch with your boyfriend. It's all a matter of trust and honesty. Fear is something that always leads us down the wrong path. Worry is fear. So if you know who you are, are happy and content with yourself, then this relationship will stay together. If you allow fear to overcome your emotions, then you're allowing another force other then God to lead you..Are you afraid of the unknown, or can you grow with the unknown? Let the truth lead you, and listen to your heart. God never gives anyone more then they can handle...
God bless our TROOPS!!! ...and your boyfriend for his service to our country! {have YOU thought about the Military?}

What does your heart say? What do you two want?? You can't judge what you wnat to based on what strangers say who don't even know your relationship.
My dh and i dated for a year before he joined. When he left for basic, it was scary. we weren't sure if we'd work in the army lifestyle or not... hwen he left for basic & ait , we left things as friends for the most part. luckily we made it thru and dated for a year and a half long distance. We are now married for going on 8 years.
Good luck and i'd say follow your heart!

His permanent duty station can be anywhere in the world. I think you should just let this relationship drop if this is an issue to you.

Why do you care if my boyfriend goes into the Army? If you are talking about your boyfriend, that is your decision. You are not obligated to sit around and wait. You both are going to changing as you enter adulthood. Have a good time but be kind to him. He is making a grand sacrifice

Don't forget about him but leave your options open. You are young and You both may stay together, however being a soldier myself It is hard not only being faithful but your experiences will e so different. You may go off to College and your lifestyle and friends will vary. Keep an open mind but for now support him.

Thats easy, If you really love him and care for him then stick it out. But if your not sure then just kinda keep him there as friend, and you never know it might end up working out between yall!
The worst thing you can do is lead him on because he is probably gonna need some support and someone to be there for him.
Good luck!!
