It's called vertigo, and there are many causes for it, like dehydration, hunger, low blood sugar, etc. If you're concerned, go see your doctor.

Ive got a bit of that. It happens to me when ive had a dizziness spell, vertigo or unsteady moment. I have to lie down on my side because otherwise it feels its coming back. Have you got a buzzying in your ear? That is one of the signs for vertigo. Stress and fatigue is another. Some food can cause it as well like chocolate, caffeine, dairy products, chinese food, smoking and alcohol. I gave up all that except chocolate. I rarely drink. There is no cure for it, just tablets. It can last months or years then stops and comes back again. I was like that for 2 years. Now after 2 year and half its come back. Believe you me, if you dont get dizzy, what youve got is nothing? Probably stress. I was diagnosed with Menieres Sindrome, and later on with severe migraines. The consultant decided the second one was more accurate

You may have Benign Positional Vertigo. We have little particles in our inner ear and they can become dislodged, causing vertigo. When you change positions, the particles can not help you to balance yourself because they're not in the proper chamber. If you click on the link below, you can view lots of information on causes of dizziness. You really should see your doctor to eliminate more serious cause of dizziness, possibly a brain scan.
I had BPV which got so bad I couldn't function. It was finally diagnosed, I had physical therapy and it was corrected after a month. The physical therapist puts you in different positions, trying to get the particles back in the chamber.
Take care, be well. Click on the link below.
