find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

There is not an easy answer for your question. There is not one thing that you can do to lose the weight. But, it will be a change in your lifestyle. The first thing you said was correct. Walking will help, in fact, any exercise that you can do for a half an hour or more a day will help. Second some weight training will help you. Building some muscle around your trouble spots will help tighten those trouble spots up. If you get advanced in your walking after a few weeks then you can try jogging. This will help with some of your trouble spots also and increase the amount of calories you burn. But, most importantly changing your diet will probably help the most. Trying to cut down your carbs i.e pasta's, breads, sweets, etc. If you eat bread try to go with a multigrain rather than white.etc.. Try watching your calories and things like that too. If you do those things I said above you will see an improvement in yourself in about a month. I hope this helps and good luck.

actually walking jogging and running will help but you have to eat healthy too or you will defeat the purpose. Dont you see all those track stars with great bodies?

do crunches and just be active. go play various sports. swimming helps too
