You have the choice to shake it off. That is what my mother has always told me. . .shake it off. Refocus on the good things. . .tell yourself that things are good. Just because you are having a blue day doesn't mean you need medication, it means you are human. You can stay in the funk or you can choose to get out of it. Sometimes we stay in the funk for a while and get comfortable there. . .and that is not a good thing, I have been there. I finally came to the realization that I have control of my emotions and my mind. I choose to shake the funk off and get busy with something.
I hope you find your way out. :)

Just about everyone goes through this once in awhile. Take time for yourself if you haven't. By this I mean to do something that brings you enjoyment. Weather it is soaking in a bubble bath, going shopping, lunch out with a friend, walking to the park, calling someone that you haven't talked to for a long time.
Do something fun!
Don't sit around brooding, that only makes it worse. Write down what you are feeling, your thoughts. No one has to read it but you. Just let the ink flow to whatever comes to mind. Then read it to yourself. I do this from time to time and it seems to help. Remember to throw it away if you do not want anyone else reading it. Stand in front of a mirror and give yourself a smile. See how nice you look!

I love the term blue funk!
I will remember that one. Go out and get some exercise. Work it all out of your system literally.
