i'am trying to covert my resume to html or text so i can e-mail to companies.every time i try to send the resume,i get an error saying it will only except html or text.

The easiest would be to convert it to PDF. Or you can recan it and use OCR to scan just the text and then put it into Word, Wordperfect etc and make a text copy.
If the resume was done on a wordprocessor you should be able to get the original file and use that file. The original should be in text format etc.
