I saw the same movie, and with the same crying baby. After about 10 minutes of crying, I did ask the parent to please take the baby outside.
You can let the management of the theater know, and they will ask people who can't sit down and shut up to leave.
It stuns me that people take babies to movies. They don't enjoy it. As for the girls on the phones, that's plain selfishness. All the other people who just want to watch the movie are waiting for *somebody* to say something, and I always figure it may as well be me.

I would have gone to the manager and complained, they would ether tell the girls to turn off there phones, told the parents of the crying baby to step out untill the baby stoped, and told the parents of the 3 year old to gain controll of him/her, given you a refund, or a free movie.
Parents should not let their children run free in any public place too much can happen. They could get kidnapped, could become the victium of sexual assult, get injured, etc.

I went to see Spiderman 3 on Saturday nite too, and it was a great movie. I do remember hearing a few cell phones going off, and the couple behind us was letting there 2 yr old run up and down the row and hang on our chairs. I was there with my 6 yr and 3 yr olds, and there is no way I'd let them act like that in there, I'd take them outside til they calmed down. It's up to the parents to correct it, and although it really annoys me, I just keep quiet too.

When asked why you are so iunsociable tell them that it is a waste of time you cant be short of the rental money on the film can you ?

I have said something before. One time I was next to a woman - her phone rang & she answered it and started talking. I leaned over to her and said, "Excuse me, but the rest of us in here are trying to watch a movie - do you mind" she hung right up!\
also - since there were little children running around (what was that movie rated - R?) It couldn;t hurt to complain to the theater

Maybe the parents felt that since it was later at night... that was the best time for them to go .... since they had kids... and weren't sure how they would be during the movie... and as for the teens.... Being that I was one at one point... I know how they are... alot of them don't really even think about it, and just do what they want to do.

thats too bad... well, there are lots of people who are really inconsiderate despite of knowing that what they're doing is very rude.. well, try to watch the movie after a few days of being shown. less kids, less inconsiderate people and you could focus more.. that's actually what i am doing:)

I would have complained to the theater employees and see what they could do.
If it was truly overbearing I would move to another section or just leave after complaining to the theater.

I would have found an usher to come in and say something. I've seen them warn people before. Just try to be inconspicuous about it. You don't want to walk out with popcorn in your hair!
