Jesus has been described by prophet Muhammad, who saw him when he asended to the Heavens:
"Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet said, "On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven, I saw Moses who was a tall brown curly-haired man as if he was one of the men of Shan'awa tribe, and I saw Jesus, a man of medium height and moderate complexion inclined to the red and white colors and of lank hair...." (Sahih Bukhari, Book #54, Hadith #462)
"...The Prophet mentioned the night of his Ascension and said, "The prophet Moses was brown, a tall person as if from the people of the tribe of Shanu'a. Jesus was a curly-haired man of moderate height...." (Sahih Bukhari, Book #55, Hadith #608)
" Narrated Ibn Umar: The Prophet said, "I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Jesus was of red complexion, curly hair and a broad chest..." (Sahih Bukhari, Book #55, Hadith #648)

Descent of Prophet Isa (Jesus) (alayhi salam)
The Sunnah has proven, as the majority of the Ummah that Isa, alayhi as salaam, will descend towards the end of time, near the Hour, during the time that the Dajjal is present, and he will kill him, and rule by the Islamic Shariah, and restore it to its former position that the people had left, then he will remain on the earth what Allah wills him to remain, then he will die, and the Muslims will pray over him (janazah) and bury him and that is seen in many ahadith saheehah and we shall present some of them.
It is mandatory upon every Muslim to give credence to / to believe in this, and to believe in what has been revealed in the Book of our Lord that Isa, alayhi as salaam was not killed by the Yahoud (Jews), but was raised up by Allah, and he will not die until he descends before the Qiyaam us Sa’A.
Allah has said:
Surah An-Nisaa 4:157-159
And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not (i.e. Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) [157]
بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
But Allah raised him (Iesa (Jesus)) up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All Powerful, All Wise. [158]
And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), but must believe in him (Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allah and a human being), before his (Iesa (Jesus) or a Jews or a Christians) death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he (Iesa (Jesus)) will be a witness against them. [159]
From Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah states that the Children of Israel tried to kill Isa by conspiring to defame him and crucify him. They complained about him to the king who was a disbeliever. They claimed that Isa was a man who misguided people, discouraged them from obeying the king, caused division, and separated between man and his own son. They also said other lies about Isa, which they will carry on their necks, including accusing him of being an illegitimate son. The king became furious and sent his men to capture Isa to torture and crucify him. When they surrounded Isa's home and he thought that they would surely capture him, Allah saved him from them, raising him up from the house to heaven. Allah put the image of Isa on a man who was in the house; when the unjust people went in the house while it was still dark, they thought that he was Isa. They captured that man, humiliated and crucified him. They also placed thorns on his head. However, Allah deceived these people. He saved and raised His Prophet from them, leaving them in disarray in the darkness of their transgression, thinking that they had successfully achieved their goal. Allah made their hearts hard, and defiant of the truth, disgracing them in such disgrace that it will remain with them until the Day of Resurrection. This is why Allah said,
وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
(And they plotted, and Allah planned too. And Allah is the Best of those who plot - Qur’an 3:54)
Ahadith
Abu Huraira added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e. Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them." (4.159) (See Fathul Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7) (Al Bukhari, Book #55, Hadith #657)
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the cross and kill the pig and abolish the Jizya (a tax taken from the non-Muslims, who are in the protection, of the Muslim government). then there will be abundance of money and no-body will accept charitable gifts. (Al Bukhari, Book #34, Hadith #425)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger or Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: I swear by Allah that the son of Mary will certainly descend as a just judge and he would definitely break the cross, and kill swine and abolish Jizya and would leave the young she-camel and no one would endeavor to (collect Zakat on it). Spite, mutual hatred and jealousy against one another will certainly disappear and when he summons people to accept wealth, not even one would do so. (Sahih Muslim, Book #001, Hadith #0289)
Muslim (no. 5233) narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘The Dajjaal will emerge among my ummah and will stay for forty… Then Allah will send ‘Isa ibn Maryam, who looks like ‘Urwah ibn Mas’ood, and he will pursue him and kill him.” Imam Ahmad (no. 14920) and al-Tirmidhi (no. 2170) narrated that Majma’ ibn Jaariyah al-Ansaari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: ‘The son of Maryam will kill the Dajjal at the gate of Ludd.” Muslim (no. 5228) narrated a lengthy hadeeth from al-Nawwaas ibn Sam’aan (may Allah be pleased with him) about the Dajjal, in which the story of the descent of ‘Isa and his killing the Dajjal are mentioned. In this hadeeth the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “… Every kaafir who will smell the fragrance of (‘Isa) will die, and his fragrance will reach as far as he will be able to see. He will then search for him (the Dajjal) until he catches up with him at the gate of Ludd, where he will kill him.” (Hadeeth no. 14426). Imam Ahmed

(Al Bukhari, Book #34, Hadith #425)
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the cross[1] and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya[2] (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it[3], and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it."

[1] He will really do this and invalidate what the Christians claimed of his greatness (divinity); and others (of the Ulema or Mufasireen) said the meaning is to break the apparent lie of the Christians whereas they claimed the Jews crucified Isa on a wooden cross {Ad-Deen Al Khaalis, Vol 1, p. 92}
[2] This means that Isa will no longer collect it from Ahl il Kitaab and will not accept from them anything except Islam. This does not mean that Isa will cancel a ruling form the Sharia of Islam, but this hadith proves that the acceptance of the Jiziya in Islamic Law is cancelled by the descent of Isa, alayhi as salaam.
[3] Increase of wealth because of what Isa spreads of justice between the people, until no one will accept it (charity).
